How ARF is ARF?

O.K. What does ARF mean anyway? Different strokes for different folks. I can say that it took me about four days to get this plane put together after I opened the box. Modifications: 1.) throw away the tank that comes with the kit 2.) throw away the landing gear and wheel that comes with the kit 3.) throw away the canopy that comes with the kit 4.) throw away the pushrod that comes with the kit 5.) make a new pushrod with z-bends on both ends so it will stay attached at both ends 6.) attach good quality two wheel aluminum landing gear to the fuselage 7.) fit a GRW 3.75 oz. Chicken Hopper fuel tank to the fuselage and drill the holes for the bicycle spokes used to hold it to the fuse with rubber bands 8.) throw away the rudder that comes with the kit 9.) make a plywood rudder from a set of Mongoose plans (available from: Barry Baxter? and Flying Models Magazine?) 10.)make a wood canopy 11.) put it all together with carbon fiber veil reinforcing in the joints using epoxy and cya-and do a neater job than I did 12.) my plane required 1 oz. of tail weight to really dial in as a tight turning sport flier 13.) don't forget to mount the engine on offset engine pads available from Brodak and Tom Morrris
