New Old Rebuilt S1 Ringmaster Speed

Took a little time today to try to determine just what speed is represented by 27.5 seconds for 7 laps. Thanks to Googling the keywords, control line speed limit combat, I found a website which states that 7 seconds for 2 laps works out to 74 m.p.h. It also says that 7.5 seconds for two laps works out to 70 m.p.h. So, by extrapolation, 7.8 seconds for two laps (the measured S1 Ringmaster speed) works out to about 67.6 m.p.h.
That does not seem that fast if you are just reading it. But if you are flying it in a sixty foot circle, it seems really fast! Us sport ukie fliers sure can have fun!
Which brings up another subject.
The stunt gurus are always talking about 5 to 5.2 second laps as being somehow desirable. That works out to about 50 m.p.h.
Talk about slow!
Why don't they call it Slow Stunt!
